A year in review for NYC Real Estate market
2017 was a good year showing solid and stable numbers for the NYC Real Estate Market. Pricing for new development units entering into contract climbed 2.2% in Manhattan and 9.4% in Brooklyn in a year over year comparison.
According to the latest report from Halstead Property Development Marketing, listed inventory in Q4 2017 increased 9% annually, exceeding 6,000 active listings. This characterized the highest fourth quarter total for the past 6 years, and was driven by a surge in new development inventory at recently launched developments in Downtown Manhattan.
